Hey there! It’s Sayaka from Japan. I decided to gather anime characters with yellow eyes, and it turns out I ended up with a mix of different appearances and personalities!
What comes to mind when you think of characters with yellow eyes? For me, I always had the image of energetic and cheerful characters, but surprisingly, there weren’t as many of them as I expected.
- C.C. – Code Geass
- Edward Elric – Fullmetal Alchemist
- Gush – Golden Gush Bell!!
- Haruhi Suzumiya – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
- Himiko Toga – My Hero Academia
- Inuyasha – Inuyasha
- Killer T Cell – Cells at Work
- Son Goku – Saiyuki
- Sesshomaru – Inuyasha
- Zenitsu Agatsuma – Demon Slayer
- Ryota Kise – Kuroko’s Basketball
- Yoruichi Shihoin – BLEACH
C.C. – Code Geass
C.C. from Code Geass is an absolute gem! Her distinctive appearance with her yellow-green hair and shimmering golden eyes immediately sets her apart from the ordinary.
What I find fascinating is the delightful contrast between her wise and mature attitude and her occasional childlike and whimsical behavior. It’s an adorable combination!
What really draws me to C.C. is her complex personality. She has a tendency to conceal her true self, which adds an air of mystery and intrigue.
Despite her seemingly cool and composed demeanor, there’s a subtle undertone of loneliness that makes her character all the more relatable. In a way, she shares some similarities with Lelouch, the main protagonist of the series, and together, they make a captivating duo!
Edward Elric – Fullmetal Alchemist
Let’s dive into the world of Fullmetal Alchemist and talk about one of my all-time favorite characters, Edward Elric.
With his striking golden hair and captivating golden eyes, Edward exudes a sense of power and dignity that is reminiscent of majestic creatures like lions and tigers.
Despite his small stature, his mastery of alchemy and impressive combat skills make him a formidable force to be reckoned with. In a previous article, I even dedicated a section to anime characters whose names start with the letter ‘E’, where Edward was prominently featured.
Gush – Golden Gush Bell!!
Gash, the young demon aiming to become the King of the Demon World, is an enchanting character with a perfect blend of childlike innocence and unwavering determination.
His golden presence alongside the other characters in “Golden Gash Bell!!” radiates motivation and captures our hearts.
What’s fascinating about Gash is that he doesn’t face his battles alone. With Kiyomaro by his side, their partnership becomes the driving force behind Gash’s growth and the embodiment of his relentless spirit. Together, they conquer obstacles and bring out the best in each other!
Despite his tender age, Gash possesses an indomitable will that fuels his ambition to claim the throne. Witnessing his journey, we can’t help but admire his unwavering resolve and the inspiring transformation he undergoes.
Haruhi Suzumiya – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Haruhi Suzumiya, the charismatic protagonist of “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya,” made a huge splash in Japan and left a lasting impact on the anime industry.
She’s a free-spirited and somewhat arrogant girl who exudes a queen-like presence. One of the most memorable aspects of Haruhi’s anime is her live performance. I was genuinely amazed by her singing talent!
It was through this anime that I discovered Aya Hirano, the voice actress behind Haruhi, who turned out to be a stunningly beautiful and multi-talented individual. It’s incredible how anime introduces us to such amazing personalities, isn’t it?
Himiko Toga – My Hero Academia
Himiko Toga, a fascinating female character from My Hero Academia, has a unique presence that leaves a lasting impression.
With her adorable school uniform and an unsettling gaze, she evokes a sense of unease. Her past actions are disturbing, but what truly sends chills down your spine is her lack of regard for her own well-being.
Can you imagine her smiling even while being subjected to unspeakable pain? It’s this enigmatic quality that makes her both captivating and deeply unsettling. Himiko Toga is a character that defies comprehension and adds a chilling element to the world of anime.
Inuyasha – Inuyasha
Inuyasha, the remarkable protagonist of the anime series “Inuyasha,” possesses captivating traits with his golden eyes and flowing white hair.
The name itself is a fusion of “INU,” meaning dog in Japanese, and “YASHA,” referring to a demonic god originating from India. Quite a powerful name, isn’t it?
Inuyasha embodies the essence of a typical shonen manga hero—a mix of impulsiveness, awkwardness around girls, and a touch of immaturity.
However, his kindness is anything but ordinary, going beyond surface-level gestures. Despite his long life, Inuyasha retains a youthful spirit, which adds to his charm!
Killer T Cell – Cells at Work
Killer T Cell is an unsung hero in our body, tirelessly fighting viruses and cancer cells to protect our health. Despite his vital role, he’s often feared by other cells due to his fierce nature.
It’s fascinating how “Cells at Work” combines entertainment and education, providing an action-packed series that teaches us about the inner workings of our bodies.
Watching Killer T Cell in action reminds me of the remarkable defense system within us. He fearlessly confronts any enemy that threatens our well-being. It’s a powerful reminder to take care of our health and strive to be as resilient as Killer T Cell.
“Cells at Work” is a unique anime that offers both entertainment and knowledge. It’s rare to find a show that is not only fun to watch but also provides insights into how our bodies function. It’s an opportunity to appreciate the complexity and beauty of our own physiology.
If you’re seeking an anime that combines entertainment and education, “Cells at Work” is a must-watch!
Son Goku – Saiyuki
Son Goku from Saiyuki is quite the unique character in the series. While most of the characters are cool and mature, Goku stands out with his carefree and childlike nature. He brings a sense of innocence and lightheartedness to the group, which is refreshing.
Saiyuki itself is an anime that caught my attention with its stunning art style, blending delicate visuals with intense action scenes. It’s always exciting to discover an anime that breaks the mold and offers something different.
Sesshomaru – Inuyasha
Sesshomaru, the enigmatic character from “Inuyasha,” is Inuyasha’s older brother and a study in contrasts.
Unlike his fiery sibling, Sesshomaru is stoic and reserved. Sporting those captivating golden eyes and flowing white hair, he exudes an aura of power.
While Inuyasha’s growth takes center stage, it’s important to recognize that Sesshomaru is already a formidable presence from the start. Throughout the series, he undergoes significant character development, becoming even more formidable.
What sets Sesshomaru apart is his lack of interest in the Shikon Jewel, a testament to his self-assurance and pride. His unwavering sense of self and mysterious nature make him an intriguing character worth exploring. Also, he’s simply cool!
Zenitsu Agatsuma – Demon Slayer
Zenitsu Agatsuma, the character from “Demon Slayer,” is a captivating presence. Affected by a lightning strike, his yellow eyes and hair set him apart.
Though he sees himself as weak and fearful, Zenitsu possesses a remarkable talent—mastering a single technique to unmatched perfection.
His battles in the Mugen Castle (Infinity Castle) are yet to be animated, but rest assured, they will be breathtaking (I believe!).
And let’s not overlook his emotional exchanges with his mentor, Kaigaku-san. Zenitsu’s journey showcases the growth and resilience of a seemingly timid individual.
Ryota Kise – Kuroko’s Basketball
Ryota Kise from “Kuroko’s Basketball” is a member of the Generation of Miracles. His name contains a kanji that means “yellow” in Japanese.
He’s incredibly talented and can outperform others with ease, which may make him come across as arrogant. However, once he acknowledges someone’s skills, he shows genuine respect and humility.
Compared to the other unique members of the Generation of Miracles, Ryota is surprisingly relatable and easy to talk to. It’s refreshing to have someone who’s just down-to-earth and normal.
Yoruichi Shihoin – BLEACH
Let’s dive into the world of “BLEACH” and talk about the incredible Yoruichi Shihoin!
Can you believe that when she first appeared, she took the form of a talking black cat? And here’s the kicker, she’s actually voiced by a male actor in the anime, adding to the surprise factor. Yoruichi is a stunning and sexy woman, completely defying our initial expectations.
Her personality is something else. She’s unpredictable, just like a cat, and carries herself with immense pride. She never shows weakness and always remains a strong force to be reckoned with. It’s incredibly cool to see her in action, always at the top of her game.
Among all the amazing female characters in “BLEACH,” Yoruichi holds a special place in my heart. She’s the one who truly captivates me every time she graces the screen. She’s fierce, she’s beautiful, and she’s everything I love about anime!
